The Finance Department is comprised of accounting, utility billing, and information technology. The department is responsible for all financial records and transactions for the Village, including general ledgers, payroll, accounts payable, investments, and fixed assets. The department also prepares the annual budget, comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR), and the annual update of the 5-year capital improvements plan. The Finance Director is the Village Treasurer, and, as such, functions as treasurer to the Police Pension Fund. This includes investment decisions and all financial transactions required in the pension fund.
Utility Billing is responsible for the billing and collection of fees for water and sewer service.
Information Technology maintains the Village’s information systems, which include local and wide-area networks, corporate software systems, document imaging system, printers, copiers, telephone system, personal computers and the Village’s web site.
