Save the Date: Bartlett Police Department's D.A.R.E. Family Fishing Derby at Beaver Pond (994 W. Stearns Rd) will be held on Saturday, 6/1. Everyone is invited to participate in this friendly catch and release fishing derby with members of the Bartlett Police Department. Registration is 9:30 to 10 a.m. and the event runs 10 to 11 a.m. with prizes at 11 a.m. Bait will be provided, but participants should bring their own fishing pole and supplies. Anyone 16 years old or older should have a fishing license as required by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. D.A.R.E. graduates are encouraged to wear their D.A.R.E. shirts at this fun-filled police-community event. Please call the Crime Prevention Unit, 630-837-0846, for more information.
