Arts in Bartlett presents a new art exhibit: “One Little Thing," a collaborative 22-person exhibit by the Collage Sisthars, from 11/5 to 12/28 at the Bartlett Village Hall 2nd Floor Gallery. Everyone is welcome at the free reception to meet the artists on Tuesday, 11/20 from 6 to 7 pm.
"One Little Thing" is the inspiration for the Collage Sisthars collaborative exhibit which features small 8" x 8" wood panels each with a set color theme of black, white, cream and one little item of a different color. Each artist has created a wonderful collage exploration of the chosen color theme and added that one little thing that adds a unique touch to the artwork.
The artists in the exhibit are: Mary Beck, Darlene Hutchens, Nancy Gher, Becky Nerad Pearce, Sharon Knipple, Barb Reeves, Terri Shimkus, Patty Donahue, Sara Kaetzer, Cherylyn Gnadt, Linda Kay, Cathy Saddoris, Bonnie Jaswith, Jill Lundstrom, Cindy Oldin, Helen Wilbur, Nancy Wolfe, Sabrina Budasi Martin, Kristi Parker, Janet Giel, Linda Weber and Jean K Brown.
The Collage Sisthars is a group of artist who pursue and share a love of collage art. They meet once a month at the Fine Line Art Center in St. Charles, IL and have done so for several years. It is a lively and fun group of artist who are not afraid to try new things and are experts at keeping their edges glued down.
