Community Input Meeting - Downtown Development

Future Downtown Bartlett – How Do You Envision It?
Wednesday, 11/4 at 7 p.m., Bartlett Hills Golf Club, 800 W Oneida Avenue

The Village has been selected to receive a technical assistance grant from the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) to develop a downtown transit-oriented development plan. A steering committee of local business owners, residents, Village elected officials and staff, and representatives from the RTA and METRA has been formed and will work with planning consultants on crafting this plan over the next several months.

The first in a series of input sessions is planned for November 4. Please come to this community input meeting to discuss Bartlett’s downtown. Using both whole-group discussion and smaller focus circles, many topics will be addressed, including business attraction and economic development, transportation, train station access, parking and pedestrian and bike access, zoning and development opportunities.

For more information please contact Tony Fradin, Village of Bartlett Economic Development Coordinator, 630-540-5940 or tfradin@vbartlett.org.
