Hero Saturday
Bartlett Park District wants you to put on your favorite hero costume, team up with friends and take on the Hero Dash at Bartlett Nature Center, 2054 W. Stearns Road, 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, 8/22. The 2-mile course will be riddled with daredevil obstacles that will have you swinging like Batman, balancing like Spiderman and running like the Flash. Pre-registration closes at noon on 8/14. Registration will continue through 8/22, with race day registration from noon to 1:30 p.m. Stay after the dash and enjoy a FREE movie in the park beginning at dusk. The Park District will be showing Big Hero 6 on the big screen. There also will be super hero themed games and popcorn.
