On Saturday, 8/15, the Immigrant Legal Services office of World Relief DuPage will be operating a citizenship clinic at the Bartlett campus of the Christ Community Church. This workshop will be staffed by World Relief’s Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) Accredited Legal Staff along with several immigration attorneys from law firms in Chicago. Beginning at 9 a.m., the World Relief legal clinicians will provide expert legal advice to eligible Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) seeking to become naturalized U.S. citizens. Eligible green-card holders will receive a free legal consultation, free assistance completing the application for U.S. citizenship, and free citizenship test study materials. The cost of this usually expensive service will be covered by World Relief with the support of federal grants - only a $20 postage and preparations fee will be charged.
