Artist Reception at Village Hall Gallery

Arts in Bartlett presents "Artistic Impressions" by Wes Lee K, a modern landscape-dreamscape artist and portrait painter, through July 30 at the Bartlett Village Hall 2nd Floor Gallery. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Influenced by the likes of Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir, Seurat, and Kinkade, Wes Lee K is known for his bold use of color and texture. Some of his exhibitions in the past year have included the Polish Museum of America in Chicago and the Bartlett Center for the Arts, as well as an up-coming event at the Chicago Harold Washington Library, to name a few.

"I think the most special component of my artwork is the way I combine color and brush stroke, as if I were sculpting the painting, with a touch of dream-scape ," Wes said.

You are also invited to celebrate the artist at a reception on Tuesday, 7/21 beginning at 6 p.m. Exhibit hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon. For more information, call 630-372-4151 or go to www.artsinbartlett.org.
