...Drop in for Heritage Days Doughnuts
Bartlett History Museum (inside Village Hall, 228 S. Main St.) will be open on Heritage Days Saturday, 9/9 from 9 a.m. to noon. The museums’ director will be on hand to give personal tours and share Bartlett’s history along with a doughnut! At 10 a.m. or 11 a.m., you can learn about the 125-year history of Bartlett Cemetery through a short presentation and original documents and images. Admission is always free.
...Walk in the Footsteps of History
Bartlett Depot Museum, 100 W. Railroad Avenue, will be open on Heritage Days Saturday, 9/9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop in anytime for a free kids craft and to pick up a free, self-guided downtown walking tour. The first 100 visitors will enjoy a complementary refreshing ice water in a color changing glass that is yours to keep.
For a more formal walking tour, join the museums’ assistant for a free 30 to 40 minute stroll in the heart of old Bartlett. Learn about the history of the buildings and businesses that established this community. Meet at the Bartlett Depot Museum promptly at 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. No registration is required.
