During October, Arts in Bartlett presents "Brusho Paintings," by Hanover Township Senior Center artists at the Bartlett Village Hall 2nd floor gallery. Come meet the painters at the reception, 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, 10/18. Free and open to the public.

The art in this exhibit was created by using highly pigmented water-based ink and color crystal powders. When sprayed with water, the medium bursts into a fluid of color and shapes creating a loose effect. The artists from the Senior Center painting class, led by instructor Sue Baptist, include: Jane Casty, Elisa Gerasin-Beaver, Kathy Kenney, Barbara Kurth Schuldt, Teresa Maria Laredo, Lynn Nelles, Mickey (Sandra) Randle, Marie Shemroske, Charlotte Turnbull, Patrick Walker and Audrey Walker.
