The Bartlett Police Department is hosting its annual, free D.A.R.E. Family Fishing Derby on Saturday, 5/9 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Beaver Pond, located on Kingston Lane and Fairview Drive. Everyone is invited to this friendly catch-and-release fishing derby with members of the Bartlett Police Department. 

Bait will be provided, but participants should bring their own fishing pole and supplies. Anyone 16 years old or older should have a fishing license as required by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. There will be raffles and prizes after the fishing. D.A.R.E. graduates are encouraged to wear their D.A.R.E. shirts at this fun-filled police-community event.
