Trees provide a home for birds and animals, give us fruit and nuts to eat, help keep our air clean and lots more. Don’t miss this special program about trees at Bartlett Park District’s Earth Day celebration this year.

From noon to 4 p.m., Village arborist Sarah Perry will be handing out tree-care brochures, coloring books for kids and free maple tree seedlings, 16 to 24 inches tall, which the Village received through a Trees for Wildlife program grant from the National Wildlife Federation..

In addition, Bartlett Public Library District will present a readers’ theater program & craft for kids at 1 p.m. & 2 p.m. inside the Nature Center. Come learn about the trees all around us and all the good things we get back when we plant a tree.
