Arts in Bartlett presents "From the Sea," by painter and printmaker Sigrid Wonsil at the Bartlett Village Hall 2nd floor gallery. Come meet Wonsil at the artist reception, 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, 8/16. Free and open to the public.

Wonsil says the 10 oil paintings in this exhibit are the result of a three week stay in a fishing village by the Aegean Sea in Greece last May, where she was intrigued by the colonies of mussels and clams in the shallow water and was fascinated by the patterns of light and waves on the bottom.
