A Walk Down Memory Lane

Did you ever shop at Schultz Hardware? Enjoy a malt at Humbracht’s? Attend the Firemen’s Festival?

To help celebrate Bartlett’s 125 years of incorporation, come take a walk down Memory Lane to the “Good Old Days” of the 1930s to 1950s. Audience favorite, author/speaker Rochelle Pennington will present her historical, light-hearted program, which details everyday life during the bygone years of corner phone booths, party lines, wringer washing machines, outhouses and much more. She will also bring her collection of antiques for you to enjoy.

The doors at Bartlett Village Hall open for this program at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 9/13. Share your personal reminiscences of Bartlett and have some refreshments. Bring a Bartlett item you have saved to talk about. Pennington will start her presentation at 7 p.m.

Registration is required for this free event. To make your reservation, please call the museum at 630-837-0800 or email prohleder@vbartlett.org with the number of seats needed and your phone number.
