The Bartlett Police Department is hosting its annual, free D.A.R.E. Fishing Derby on Saturday, 5/14, at Beaver Pond. (Please park on Kingston Lane). Everyone is invited to this friendly catch-and-release fishing derby with members of the Bartlett Police Department. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. 

Bait will be provided, but participants should bring their own fishing pole and supplies. Bringing along extra gear to share is appreciated. Anyone 16 years old or older should have a fishing license as required by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. There will be raffles and prizes after the fishing. D.A.R.E. graduates are encouraged to wear their D.A.R.E. shirts at this fun-filled police-community event. Be the school to win "Most Participation" award.
