The Tri-Village Garden Club of Bartlett, Hanover Park and Streamwood meets at 7 p.m. at the Poplar Creek Public Library in Streamwood, on the third Wednesday of the month. Sandy Perakis and her fairy garden presentation will be at the June meeting.
There will be a meet and greet at 6:45 p.m. followed by Perakis, who has been
working at Platt Hill Nursery for more than 20 years now! Before coming to Platt Hill
Nursery, she was in master gardening in DuPage County for 10 years. During that
time, she was on the Extensions Speakers Bureau.
For the past 20 years, Perakis has had a pond and
now has more than 25 fish, which are all part of her family. Her real love will always be
herbs. She grows and uses herbs daily. Everything she does, she
tries to do organically. She believes everything starts with good earth!
