Lisa Callaghan will have a one-person show, entitled "Streets," at the 2nd floor gallery at Bartlett Village Hall during the month of February. It is a celebration of the color and architecture of the beautiful city of Chicago, as seen from her and her children's first visit into the city shortly after they immigrated here from Ireland in 2014. Callaghan was compelled to capture the beauty of the city but explores the emotion and challenges of leaving one native city behind and starting afresh in a new one in a foreign land. Everyone is invited to the free reception in her honor on Tuesday, 2/16 from 6 to 7 p.m.
