How did a formula concocted by a pharmacist for baby colic, baseball and World War II come together to be instrumental in the creation and growth of one of the most readily recognized and successful corporations in the world? Join the Bartlett History Museum, 228 S. Main Street, as it hosts Dick Volker, a former longtime employee of the Coca-Cola Company, who will speak on the history of all things Coke on Wednesday, 11/6.
If you would like to come early, doors open at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments, including sips of Coca-Cola. At 6:45 p.m. the museum will present “Remembering Humbracht’s Confectionery.” Volker’s program begins at 7 p.m.
Space is limited and registration is required for this free event. Please email Pam, prohleder@bartlettil.gov, with your name, number of attendees and phone number.
