In April 2019, Bartlett Police Department Deputy Chief Chuck Snider retired after 24 years of dedicated service. Two days later he began his quest to hike the Appalachian Trail. 

On Wednesday, 10/18, you are invited to meet Chuck, the hiking "Viking," and hear about his amazing experiences trekking and completing this almost 2,200-mile trail that passes through 14 eastern states, beginning at Georgia's Springer Mountain and ending at Maine's Mount Katahdin. 

The presentation will be at Bartlett Hills Golf Club, 800 W. Oneida Avenue. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments, complimentary soda and coffee, along with a cash bar.
