Robert Storozuk, former president of the Milwaukee Road Historical Association and current curator, will talk about the history of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad.

The January 1, 1876, Elgin Advocate reported that Bartlett, then only 3 years old, “has sprung up if by magic…” due to the railroad and depot. Come be amazed by Tom Boz, the Magic Man.

Step back in time and take a journey along Railroad & Bartlett Avenues to discover what life was like in early Bartlett! Learn about the first businesses and homes that “sprung up as if by magic.”
