Bartlett Police Department will host its free 30th annual National Night Out “Picnic in the Park” event on Tuesday, 8/1 from 5 until 8:30 p.m. at Bartlett Park located at 102 N. Eastern Avenue.
Enjoy a special evening with Bartlett Police Department, Village of Bartlett, Bartlett Park District and Bartlett Fire Protection District. This award-winning free community event will include free hog dogs, popcorn, and water, giveaways, local business displays, inflatable climbing wall and games, face painters, a balloon artist, a petting zoo, and much more! The event will also include special appearances by Bartlett Police Department’s facility dog Maverick, Spiderman, Elsa, and Mirabel along with the National Night Out mascot Nat the Knight, 501st Midwest Garrison Star Wars characters, Glowby the Outdoor Bubble Entertainer, Division BMX Stunt Team and a frisbee dog show. Bartlett High School’s Dance Team, Cheer Team and Drum Line will also be performing throughout the event.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. For 30 years, Bartlett Police Department has been participating in National Night Out and building positive relationships with the Bartlett community.
