Maverick’s Pup Art
Monday, 6/19 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Bring your furry friend to the Village of Bartlett, 228 S. Main Street, on 6/19 for Bartlett’s “Pup Art” event. This event is a part of The DuPage Warhol Pop Art Challenge exhibit, which will be at the village hall through 9/10.
At the Pup Art event, you will be given a small canvas onto which you will drop dots and lines of paint. The canvas will be placed into a bag with peanut butter applied to the outside. Your dog will lick the peanut butter and create their own unique artwprk.
Staff will get a picture of your dog to place next to their artwork, which will displayed in the village hall all summer. Your dog will go home with a funky bandanna and at the end of the Warhol Exhibit, you will be called to come pick up your Pup Art! This should only take about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how much your pup likes peanut butter.
You must preregister for a time slot between 1 and 3 p.m. using the link below. At signup, include the “artist's” name, breed and age.
