Bartlett Public Library District 50th Anniversary Open House

In 1968, several community organizations formed the Bartlett Volunteer Library Association in the hope of seeing a full-service public library in the village. A library was soon set up in the Bartlett municipal building. Bartlett residents voted in 1972 to establish a library district, and in 1973 the Bartlett Public Library District opened its doors! The library district is honored to have been able to serve the people of this community for 50 years!

The Bartlett Public Library District invites you to join in celebrating the district's 50th anniversary by participating in the following events:

“The Library through the Decades” - Enjoy themed programs in person and via zoom throughout October and November!

Special daily give-aways from November 13 to 18: cookies, tote bags, free printing and faxing and more! For more details please visit www.bartlettlibrary.org or pick up information at the Library!

50th Anniversary Open House on Saturday 11/19/2022 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Door Prizes from local businesses, trivia games, scavenger hunts, musical performances, snacks, cake and more will be offered! View the custom-made time capsule — it will be opened in 2047!
