Today Oktoberfest conjures up appealing images of beer drinking and celebrations in German traditional costume, but how were German immigrants viewed at the time of the great migration in the United States and in the Village of Bartlett? Jacqueline Ellsworth will enlighten you with her presentation, "German American Identity in the 20th Century" on Sunday, 10/16, 2 p.m. at the Bartlett Public Library.
