The Tri-Village Garden of Bartlett, Streamwood and Hanover Park meets monthly at 6:30 p.m. at Poplar Creek Library in Streamwood. New members are always welcome.
Upcoming programs:
April 20 - Kay McKeen, founder and executor director of SCARCE. For more than 30 years, SCARCE has been teaching schools and groups how to recycle, reuse and compost to preserve and care for the Earth’s natural resources. McKeen will discuss how gardening is impacted by these responsible practices. 
May 18 - Beekeeper and purveyor of Harbor Honey Gregg Walter will relay how the humble honeybee plays a crucial role in Earth’s fragile ecosystem. He’ll lift the lid on the hive (without bees) and give you an amazing tour of its occupants, activities, and the jobs they perform.
