The Tri-Village Garden Club will meet 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 11/17 at Poplar Creek Library, 1405 S. Park Ave in Streamwood. A master gardener from the University of Illinois extension will be discussing winter sowing, a method of sowing your seeds for the upcoming gardening season in plastic containers and leaving them outside during the winter
months until the seeds germinate in the spring.
