NNO Touch-a-Truck and K.I.S.S. (Kids' Identification & Safety Seat) Event - Saturday, 7/24 from 8 to 11 a.m.
Join Bartlett Police on 7/24 for the annual National Night Out Touch-A-Truck & K.I.S.S. event at The Streets of Bartlett. Have fun exploring and getting hands-on with 20+ specialty vehicles including a police SWAT truck, a fire engine, a snow plow, an excavator, an Illinois National Guard vehicle and more!
Did you know car seat use (when compared with seat belt use alone) reduces the risk for injury in a crash by 71-82% for children and booster seat use reduces the risk for serious injury by 45% for children aged 4 to 8? Bartlett Police Department has certified car seat technicians present to answer any questions and install infant car seats, convertible car seats and booster seats - just bring your vehicle and the car seat(s)! No appointment necessary.
The Illinois Tollway and Illinois State Police will also be onsite creating Kids' Identification cards. At K.I.S.S. events, trained professionals take photographs and fingerprints of children age 3 and older and gather vital information to include on an ID card that parents and caregivers can reference in an emergency. This event is FREE! Please contact Bartlett Police Department with any questions or concerns 630-847-0846.
